Application Dates:
Applications for the Fall semester exchange program typically begin in March; applications for the Spring semester exchange program typically begin in September (subject to renewal every year).
Exchange Selection Process: Each department conducts its own selection process and submits a list of students for the exchange program to the college within the deadline announced by the college. The college will review the applications and notify students who have been selected for the exchange program.
The final list of exchange students is determined according to the exchange agreement between the college and the partner universities; the Process of Decision-Making is in the partner universities.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students at the college (sophomore or above in Bachelor's programs / first year or above in Master's programs / first year or above in Doctoral programs) (Master's and Doctoral students are strongly advised to discuss with their advisors before submitting their applications).
Applicants must be currently enrolled at the college during the application and exchange period.
Other Important Notes:
1. The list of exchange students admitted is determined according to the exchange agreements between our college and the partner universities; the Process of Decision-Making is in the partner universities.
2. If you require credit transfer, please inquire with your department before departure. Upon returning to NCKU, credit transfer will be handled in accordance to NCKU's regulations.
3. After receiving admission from the exchange university, exchange students are responsible for applying for passports, visas, accommodation, insurance, and course selection. They must also arrange their own travel itinerary based on the exchange university's start date.
