Dr. Janicki will share three more-than-human design projects from Georgia, USA—ranging from wearable designs for toxic land contamination to interactive art installations addressing data center noise pollution. 💡 Speaker Profile｜ Dr. Sylvia H. Janicki is a designer and design researcher working at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Science and Technology Studies (STS). Currently a Research Scientist at Georgia Tech, her work combines humanistic scholarship with tangible interaction design to explore body-environment relationships, often through a critical disability lens and speculative art-based practices.
