【Scholarship Announcement】Application for the 2025 Replacement Quota of the NCKU  NSTC Doctoral Research Scholarship Pilot Program is now open

The application for the 2025 replacement quota is now open.

Please note the following:

• Eligibility: Ph.D. students of any year of admission may apply. In-service students, students with deferred admission, readmitted students, and students from Mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macao are not eligible.
• Scholarship Period: September 2026 to August 2028.
• Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must meet at least one of the following:
  1. Demonstrate excellent academic performance; or
  2. Have outstanding research achievements recognized by their academic advisor and provide a recommendation letter.
• Selection Criteria: Academic and research achievements, including awards in national/international competitions, publications in international journals, patents, presentations at major international conferences, books, or other relevant accomplishments.
• Application Deadline: August 28, 2026 (Friday).
• Application Procedure: Please submit the required application forms and supporting documents in both hard copy and electronic format to your department by the deadline. Applications will be reviewed by the department and college before being submitted to the Office of Research and Development for final review and approval.
• Annual Evaluation: Scholarship recipients are subject to annual evaluation. The scholarship may be discontinued if the recipient no longer meets the eligibility requirements.
