Applications for the 2026 NCKU NSTC Doctoral Research Scholarship Pilot Program are now open through August 28, 2026.
- Eligibility: Currently enrolled doctoral students who meet the academic or research achievement requirements. Certain categories of students, including those with full-time employment or receiving other government-funded scholarships, are not eligible.
- College Quota: The College of Planning and Design has 3 scholarship quotas, including at least 1 first-year doctoral student among the selected recipients.
- Selection Criteria: Academic performance, awards in national or international academic competitions, publications in international journals, patents, conference papers, books, and other outstanding research achievements.
- Application: Applicants should submit the required documents, including the Application Form and Academic Achievement Form, in both hard copy and electronic format to their department by August 28. The department will review and recommend applicants to the College for preliminary review.
- Further Review: Final recommendations will be submitted to the Office of Research and Development for final review and approval.
- Annual Review: Scholarship recipients will be evaluated by the College each academic year. Recipients who no longer meet the requirements will lose their eligibility for the following year.
